Contemporary Miami living is epitomised in B&B Italia’s first condominium
Casa Bella by B&B Italia, in Miami’s downtown, will marry modern and Mediterranean design codes
Designs have been revealed for a new residential tower in Miami’s downtown that marks the first branded condominium for Italian furniture company B&B Italia. Casa Bella, created in collaboration with developers Related Group and Alta Developers, is set to rise on the doorstep of Biscayne Bay, overlooking the water.
At 55 stories high, the building’s undulating form by architecture firm Arquitectonica is a contemporary foil for its elongated proportions, while interiors by B&B Italia creative director Piero Lissoni, and landscape architecture by Enzo Enea add to the sense of modernity. For Lissoni, it was important to imbue the building with a Mediterranean edge. ‘With Casa Bella, I wanted to realise a very contemporary project, and what is more contemporary than B&B Italia?’ he says.
